In today’s class, our teacher taught us how to convert shapes into a 3D form or an object using different tools and by following certain steps on Illustrator.

He also showed us how to make a letter in a certain style or font on illustrator. We then practiced the same in the second half.

For the next class, our teacher has asked us to think of different layouts in groups for the brochure and come up with four to five ideas and select the best one.

It was fun learning more on illustrator. Its just fascinating to see how so much can happen on illustrator!

I couldn’t attend today’s class as I was unwell. I got to know that our teacher showed a movie named, “Harishchandrachi Factory.” It’s about how Dadasaheb Phalke accidentally discovers a tent screening a silent movie and is amazed by the idea of storytelling. He brings together a team of technicians to produce India’s first feature film.

Our teacher then divided us into groups and gave us a list of movies to watch which we further have to deconstruct after watching in the group.

In today’s class, we sat in our second project groups and discussed about the NGOs that we could go with. We discussed about our module and the activities that we can make them do. We divided our work and called up few NGOs to take their permission.

Since the NGOs asked us to meet them, we took our teacher’s permission and went to the NGOs to have a talk.

I am sure this project is going to be a whole lot of fun and I am excited to visit the NGOs.

We had our 8th week review day today. We did the whole set up. Set up which included tunnel box, The City of My Dreams booklet, the thumbnails, illustrations and the Gestalt’s pictures.

Our teacher reviewed our work and we had to explain our tunnel box and the illustrations.

This project was really interesting and I enjoyed making the tunnel box.

We had our 8th week review day today. Our teacher discussed about how our first project was and she asked whether we faced any difficulties during the project. She then collected our seminar booklets “The City of My Dreams” and the word art and marked us for the 8th week. We had to upload our student documentations too.

This project was really interesting and a fun to do task.

Date: 25th February, 2019

We had our 8th week review day today. Our teacher reviewed all  the work we did till date. We had to show our album cover, comic strip, layouts, God’s booklet and the final seminar booklet. We also had to upload our documentation in the drive. Sir marked on those assignments and told us the area which we could improve in and gave us the corrections.

In the second half, he told us about our second project for the 15th week presentation. It is related to our sustainability systems class. We have to collect data in that class and make info graphics in the imaging class and then finally create a brochure. We then researched a bit on the layouts of the brochure.

So today was our 8th week review week and it was a whole lot of fun! We had a debate between Athens, Sparta, Persia and other cities. We had to trade our timelines and get the maximum cities on one side. I was in the group of Athens and we could definitely defeat Sparta and Persia with our points and getting other cities on our side and finally, Athens won. It was a great fun and this also taught us group cooperation and coordination.  It also improves our public speaking skills.

So we had a great debate for 2 hours. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun too. As we were asked to prepare a timeline between stone-age to Alexander’s age, I took Knife as my object and wrote about its evolution.

We had our 8th week review day today. Our teacher asked us to present our video along with the artist statement, thumbnail sketches and the pictures. We had to present in front of the whole class and narrate our stories with an explanation.

Our teacher reviewed all our process work and marked us.

As everyone presented their own ideas and narratives, it helped us gain more knowledge and information on the same.

So today was our 8th week review day.  We had to present our power point presentations, the info graphics, reports and explain everything about it to the class. As our topic was water crisis, we talked about it first and then we talked about what is the problem in UK regarding water and what is it doing about it. We then stated our own solutions to overcome water crisis.

Sir, then introduced us to our next project for the 15th week review. In the same group, we are now supposed to visit and choose a place. It could be schools, NGOs or other different places and make them aware on water crisis. We can make them do different activities or whatever we can to make them aware about it.
