Week 8: Light and Interaction

Date: 28th February, 2020

In today’s class, we were asked to get different types of papers. Our teacher asked us to create different types of texture by using those papers. We could even combine different types of papers to create a texture. We had to keep in mind that whatever we made would interact best when the light is being cast upon it. We were basically asked to play with papers.

It was a light and a fun assignment through which we could learn a lot. We had to create 20 textures. At first I couldn’t figure out that how exactly it was supposed to be done but slowly I figured out and then it was fun to make.

We basically did this assignment to learn that how when lights are being cast on it, how different types of papers interact, For example, a crumbled paper would interact differently as compared to a plain paper. How an opaque and translucent would interact together.

We finished as many as we could in the class and then  our teacher asked to get 20 of them for the next class. It was really a fun learning activity.
