Week 5: Light and Interaction.

Date: 7th February, 2020

In today’s class, we had to research on materials which absorbs or reflects light. Few examples of absorption of light are: Coal, wood, cement and molten salt. The examples for reflection of light are: Mirror, foil, black paper, glass and polished metal.

Our teacher then talked about how when we place lights in different angles, it gives different effect and mood to the material and the space. He used various examples to explain us in a better manner.

We then showed our texture imprints and the material work of 3 different rooms and our teacher gave his inputs on each one of them.

The assignments are fun learning and I understand the topics better when we do it practically.
