In today’s class, we discussed our idea with the teacher. She gave her suggestions too. After a whole lot of research, I thought of going with “doors” as the part of whole. Basically, how does the design of a door explain us the interior of a house/place. For example, if its modern/traditional or which period or era it was built in.
I took Rajasthan as my place and researched on different doors and gates. I learned that the design of a door matters a lot. For example, the door of a fort would be different from that of a house.
So finally, I sketched down 5 variations of a door and now we have to select one of them and present it as our final assignment. It could be a video, presentation, sketch, painting, model, prototype etc. I still have to work on how I would present my final object.
