In today’s drawing class, our teacher taught us three-point perspective. It is a linear perspective in which parallel lines along the width of an object meet at two separate points on the horizon and vertical lines on the object meet at a point on the perpendicular bisect of the horizon line.
We were then asked to draw a composition using three-point perspective. It could be an imagination drawing, shapes, buildings etc. I completed my composition in the first half of the class. In the second half of the class, we were asked to use paints and fill in the composition. I used water colors to fill in my composition. By the end of the class, I could complete my three perspective drawing.
I learned three-point perspective in today’s class which was new for me as I have never tried it before. Initially it was hard for me to understand but later as I started sketching, I could get it right. Also, I am good with other medium of paints but a somewhat weak with water colors. For the next class, we are asked to complete the documentation and sketch a three point perspective drawing.
