Today’s integrative studio  was all about coming up with something very innovative and different. We were asked to draw five sketches each on every given topic. The topics were as follows: Something which gives us happiness; On our way to school; Image of Isdi; View outside the window; depiction of our hometown and our current mood. We were asked to draw in the squares each of 4 inch and had to use only lines and dots to depict the given topics.

The best part was we did not have to think and draw but just get ideas and come up with something different which was not concrete or precise. During this process of imagination, I tried being as creative as possible. Also, I had my thinking caps on in all possible direction. Soon, when we were all done with this imagination process, our teacher asked to form groups and try to guess what others have depicted through their sketch. Having guess other’s work was amazing and a fun task to do.

Our teacher told us that these were just basics to exercise and get our brains to function and get prepared for the future. In today’s class I learned that we do not always need to be accurate or precise to pen down our imagination because our imagination is way beyond that and this is how we would be able to transform our ideas into reality.
