In today’s class, I continued working on my model for the 8th week presentation. My teacher gave her suggestions to make it better so I worked on it.
She also informed us about the things we need to be ready with for the 8th week review. It includes: The model, 15 sketches of the cities and the other 3 sketches of the dream city and the booklet too. We also need to get our documentation and blogs ready.

In today’s class, we had to show the six chapters that we had written to our teacher. As I had shown earlier, I worked on my documentation for seminar and uploaded it.
Our teacher informed us about whatever we need to get for the 8th week review. We need to have our final booklet, the word art, documentation and the blogs ready.
I still need to work on the word art and all others are ready for my 8th week review.

In today’s class, we had to continue with our final booklet for the coming 8th week. I worked on my cover page and illustrations in today’s class and got my layout correct.
I just need to get the print out for the booklet.

In today’s class, our teacher told us about the submission for the 8th week. We are supposed to do the documentation, blogs and the final video presentation.
Our teacher had asked us to work on our video and I finished my video which is based on nature. It tells that how I like to click pictures of each and every moment especially the nature growing slowly as I love nature and photography. Also, pictures can be the only way to cherish every moment later.
I showed my video to my teacher and she approved it. I just need to present it in the next class. Also, we need to prepare an artist statement for it.
It was fun making the video and making different narratives.

In today’s class, our teacher talked about Rome. The city of seven hills. Wars of Rome were known as Punic Wars. Remus had killed Romulus so the city was named after him. They believed in a god who was Aphrodite who was the goddess of beauty and love. She was also known as Venus. Rome was divided into four classes:
Patricians- Rich people
Plebia
Equestrians- with horses
Others
The class was really interesting as it grabbed my interest and it helped me to gain a lot of knowledge.

In today’s class, our teacher gave us a list of whatever has to be completed by the 8th week. We have to get done with research, surveys, info graphics (both rural and urban) and a power point presentation of the case study which defines problems and the solutions to it.
We started with info graphics in today’s class as we were already done with the research and the survey. We could complete one info graphic in the class and by the next class we will be done with all of them.
We had a lot of fun taking the surveys and the rural people actually shared their problems with us and since out topic is Water Crisis, it was sad to know that they get limited water and unclean water at times. We learned a lot through our research process too. We faced a lot of problems among the group members but at last we distributed our work and got done with it.

As I was absent in the last class, ma’am checked all of my three illustrations and told me what to incorporate in the final model. I gave final touch to my illustrations by doing pencil sketch and made it look better.
I then started working on my model and first made a box of 8 by 8 inch using ivory sheet. I started cutting out the layers which took a lot of patience and hardwork as it was too much of a detail work. Hopefully I would finish all six layers by the next class and would give finishing touch to my model in the class after getting it approved.
I enjoyed illustrating my six chapters and I am sure model making is going to be fun even though it needs a lot of patience.

As I was absent in last class, ma’am checked my six chapters today and approved it. She had just asked me to write the keywords for all six chapters which would make my work easier.
I made the changes in today’s class and typed all six chapters down to avoid the grammatical errors and punctuation.
Now we are supposed to design a front cover on In design for the booklet of city of dreams. I have started working on it and hopefully should be done by the next class.
I really enjoyed writing chapters on my city of dreams taking Bombay into consideration. There’s so much about Bombay that I couldn’t just stop writing.

In today’s class, our teacher taught us how to make the documentation on In design. We are supposed to take the exact sheet size, font style and font size as we made on PowerPoint the last semester.
So this time we are supposed to make out documentation for all the subjects on In design. I prepared my layout of the documentation on In design and now I just have to fill in for all my subjects.
I have started with Imaging documentation and hopefully will complete by the coming class. We need to incorporate whatever we have done till now: the city poster, album cover, comic strip, the layouts (both traced and printed) and the God booklet. We are also supposed to work on our final seminar booklet after we our done writing our chapters.
In these five weeks I really learned a lot and I have now started understanding In design in a better manner.

In today’s class, we were just supposed to work on our narratives. I went through the link that our teacher had shared with us and found many pictures and videos for my narrative.
I could make a half narrative and still need to set it right focusing on TIME as the main outcome of the narrative. By next week I should be done with my narrative and start off with making a video presentation.
Its a great fun to build narrative using pictures and videos. Its an interesting project and I want to do my best.
